Lesson 1

Oil and part changes

One thing the people take for granted is the importance in car engine is the oil and you can change it yourself.

  1. If the engine is cold, start it and let it run for 5 minutes to warm up the oil.
  2. loosen the drain plug.
  3. Use new oil to lubricate the new oil filter before spinning it in.
  4. spin the new oil filter in nd tighten it.

Lesson 2

Break Pads change

In case you need to change your break pads, do this:

  1. Remove the wheel
  2. Remove the caliper
  3. Retract the caliper piston
  4. Remove the rotor hold-down screw
  5. Clean off the rust
  6. add the springs and new pads
  7. install the wheel

Lesson 3

How to change transmission oil

In case you need to change the transmission oil, do this:

  1. Let your car idle for a few minutes. next, remove the bolts from one side of the transmission pan.
  2. Gradually loosen the oter bolts,which should allow the pan to tilt and begin to drain
  3. Clean the gasket surfaces on both the pan and the transmission housing
  4. Remove the old transmission filter and O-ring.
  5. Install the new transmission filter,making sure that its O-ring sits in the appropriate orifice.
  6. Attach the new gasket to the pan with oil-soluble grease
  7. Screw all fastners finger-tight.
  8. Torque the pan bolts to spec in a spiral pattern starting at the centre.
  9. Fill the transmission with the required amount of fluid.
  10. Start tge vehicle to warm it up, then check for leaks.

Lesson 4

Wheel change

In case you need to insert a spare wheel, do this:

  1. Make sure the hand-break is on
  2. Safely jack your car
  3. Once its jacked, begin to loosen the bolts on the wheel
  4. Remove the bolts totally, the the wheel
  5. Make sure the holes on the spare wheel are aligned with the finches
  6. then,insert the spare wheel
  7. Screw and tighten the bolts
  8. lower the car and youre good to go.
